This is an instrumental track, but that's not the reason for the song's title. "I have no words." It's what is said when someone does or says something that leaves us shaking our heads, often conveyed in a lighthearted manner. It's also something said when there are literally no words that could adequately express what we are feeling or what we would like to convey to our own hearts or to someone who has experienced the deepest loss possible. It goes way beyond words and sometimes what we can offer is our compassionate presence, a willingness to be there, to give ourselves and others time and space to heal.

Life doesn't always make sense and death hardly ever does.

I recorded this song in mostly a minor key with these thoughts in mind.
The song does resolve in a major key. Among the living, we have hope. And death does not have the final say.
